Tree pruning that protects your home

Good pruning extends the life of your trees and keeps limbs off your roof. Bad pruning ruins trees for good. We make the right cuts in the right places so trees heal strong.

When to call for pruning

  • Limbs hanging over the roof, driveway, or deck
  • Dead branches that drop in every storm
  • Branches rubbing or crossing each other
  • A canopy so thick it holds wind like a sail
  • Low limbs blocking walkways or the mower
  • Storm prep, before the season instead of after it

How the job goes

  1. Walk the treeWe identify deadwood, hazards, and what the tree actually needs. Sometimes that's less than you'd think.
  2. Prune with purposeSafety and deadwood first, then thinning, clearance, and shape. Proper cuts at the branch collar so the tree heals.
  3. Clean upEvery branch hauled, every twig raked. The lawn looks better than before we came.
What affects the price

Tree size, how much of the canopy needs work, equipment access, and haul-away volume. Clear number before any saw starts. One thing we won't do at any price: top your trees. Topping creates weak regrowth that becomes tomorrow's hazard.

Common questions

Most trees: late fall through winter, while dormant. Spring bloomers: right after flowering. Dead or dangerous limbs: any time.
Most mature trees do well every three to five years. Young trees benefit from lighter, more frequent structural pruning.
Lines from street to pole are the utility's job, and we'll tell you when to call them. Around your house service line, we work with proper clearances.
